Practicing Kindness can help increase the amount of positive emotion to our day-to-day experience, which can help us better deal with the difficult times we have to face lately.
Research shows practicing kindness, respect and caring for ourselves and others can offer us better insight into our mistakes and negative actions, helping us to learn from them.
Living with a positive attitude helps us to recognise when we are in the wrong without being overwhelmed by negative feelings or emotions.
This way of Practicing can help re wire and change the structure and chemicals in the brain to create new neuropathways.
Learn from a deep well of rich yoga instructions that offers a way to relax within effort, working within our soft and hard edges.
With the use of props such as blocks, bolsters, walls, chairs, belts all creatively replaced by simple items from around our home
These are used to support us in a pose and to allow us go much deeper than we otherwise would without props, which helps advance the practice
In the same way we learn that it’s not only ok but essential to ask for support from friends or professionals when we are feeling stretched and unsupported. It’s not a sign of weakness but a sign of being open to becoming a better version of ourself.
WEEK 1 – Cultivating self awareness
Take time to turn inwards, to sit with ourselves and notice our thoughts and feelings as they come and go
WEEK 2 – Sensing the breath
Feel the movements of breathing in the body connect, learn to release into gravity
Week 3 – Compassionate acceptance
Turn our critical voice into a friendly one, notice the effect of this practice
Week 4 – Connection
We already do kind deeds but here we are making these kind actions more intentional and conscious
