Mindfulness is a clever blend of ancient wisdom traditions, particularly Buddhism, modern neuroscience, psychology, and a series of simple skills which can be learned by anyone wishing to harness the power of their mind.
The Breathworks UK core approach is Mindfulness-based Pain Management (MBPM) which has its own scientific evidence-base and can be adapted to other circumstances such as Mindfulness in the workplace and Mindfulness for Stress.
Compassion and kindness are also central to all Breathworks mindfulness programmes. Becoming more aware in each moment, we step away from habitual, unconscious reactions.

The Mindfulness for Health course and the Mindfulness for Stress course requires twenty minutes of meditation per day, in addition to a little reading every week and a weekly live session with your group and teacher.
The sessions will consist of twenty hours of class time over the eight weeks, including guided meditation, in-depth teaching on the practices and techniques, discussion, opportunities for questions, and help with your home practice.
